Discovery Flights

Now you have more choices as you take your first step toward learning to fly. Takeoff on the adventure of a lifetime with one of our Discovery Flights. Or, give the gift of flight to someone special for any occasion.

$99 Explorer Discovery Flight

Experience the thrill of flying first hand. Take to the skies with an FAA Certificated Flight Instructor for a 15-20 minute flight. You sit in the pilot seat. You'll also get a short ground briefing and receive a certificate to document your first flight.

$199 Pioneer Discovery Flight

Upon arrival, your FAA Certificated Flight Instructor will walk you through each step a pilot does before, during and after a typical flight. This is not a ride. You sit in the pilot seat. You actually fly the aircraft. You will taxi, takeoff, and once airborne, perform many in-flight maneuvers.

Of course, your instructor will be sitting right beside you each step of the way. Your flight time is about one hour as you join the elite few who have actually piloted an aircraft.

You will receive a logbook, photo, and certificate documenting your first flight.

$299 Adventurer Discovery Flight

This discovery flight offers you a more extensive introduction with a one and a half hour flight. You'll preview your flight lesson with a demo of the same computerized flight training used in our flight school. You and your FAA Certificated Flight Instructor will preflight the aircraft. You sit in the pilot seat and actually fly the aircraft. You will taxi, takeoff, and once airborne, perform many in-flight maneuvers. You may want to explore the Hudson River from the air and see the Manhattan Skyline form a new perspective.

Of course, your instructor will be sitting right beside you each step of the way. Your flight time is about one and a half hours as you join the elite few who have actually piloted an aircraft.

$205 Hudson River Scenic Flight for Two

Experience the magnificent and diverse landscape from the air, the New York Skyline, Hudson River Valley, rolling hills, farmland, and ocean views. Enjoy a one hour flight along the Hudson River.

Gift Certificates can also be purchased in any amount and can be used towards flight training, aircraft rental, scenic flights or pilot shop purchases.
